Summary
The Supply Chain Associate is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the supply chain. Including maintaining commodity suppliers, purchasing assigned materials. Coordinating the production schedule. Processing all new production part sales orders, performing contract review, and maintain and follow through on all existing orders to ensure on time delivery to the customer.

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Understands and maintains the ERP system to provide accurate information to all dependent departments.
Review demands via MRP output using ERP software and negotiates the placement of purchase orders with suppliers who can meet required delivery dates.
Expedite materials when required and handle any rejections or other problems on materials purchased.
Monitor current purchase price to current standard cost via Purchase Price Variance (PPV) report.
Maintain responsible suppliers for the specified commodities through use and understanding of the supplier management procedure.
Manage the approved vendor list by maintaining ISO certification expirations and any quality/change agreements as required.
Maintain and share supplier performance reports.
Order office supplies, safety supplies, copier and toner supplies, and any other support supplies as needed.
Review press capacities and open demand.
Compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials.
Scheduling of molding and assembly productions through the ERP.
Participate in New Product Introduction review and coordinate the event requests on the schedule.
Create and distribute work orders to production.
· Process all new production part sales orders within a 24-hour period. Perform contract review on all for accuracy (part #, revision level, pricing, adequate lead-time).
Maintains and follows through on all existing sales orders, working with various departments to ensure on time delivery.
Lead the effort to manage aging inventory due to lack of new orders, end of programs and the disposition of old revision levels prior to shipping new revision levels as requested by customer.
Managing customer web-based ordering systems (where applicable).
Maintain forecasts in the ERP system

Qualifications, Education, Experience, and Training

· High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in related field is a plus.
· Two to four years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment or a combination of on-the-job training and experience.
· Proven organization skills.

· Language Skills
o Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate the English language in a proficient manner.
· Computer Skills
o Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Proficient working with spreadsheets.
o Ability to use ERP systems proficiently. Prior use of IQMS is a plus.
· Math Skills
o Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
o Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.

· The primary position location is an office desk; however, it may be required to work periodically on the shop floor to speak with staff and/or managers.
