We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our growing team. This role focuses on designing, integrating, and maintaining automated assembly systems for plastic components in an injection moulding environment. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with automation technologies and a strong desire to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

  • Design, integrate, and maintain automated assembly systems for plastic components (including springs and magnets).

  • Collaborate with tooling and molding teams to ensure seamless automation integration.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for automation equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues to minimize downtime.

  • Manage vendor relationships for automation equipment sourcing and FAT/SAT processes.

  • Support validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ for automated systems.

  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or equivalent experience.

  • 3–5 years of experience in automation engineering within manufacturing or assembly environments.

  • Hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and basic robotics.

  • Familiarity with vision systems and mechanical assembly automation.

  • Knowledge of injection molding processes and component assembly.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ).

  • Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies.

  • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.

  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Requirements
